The purchase of a house normally represents the largest financial commitment made by an individual.  It is therefore recommended that a Home Buyers Report and Valuation is commissioned before its purchase.

A Home Buyers Report and Valuation is a comprehensive report provided on a standard format set out by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

The report will provide the purchaser with an exact indication as to the condition of the property and the level of repair that may be required.  All urgent and significant defects will be noted.

The report also provides a valuation of the property.
